Progress on the new showroom features
Some things in life seem to happen really quickly, and some seem to take a little more time than you expected. Well, like life, developing a website has different speeds at different times. Here at myJournal we’re having new people join pretty regularly (and as the system is still invite-only that’s quite impressive). Check out the list of new members and new companies and see the interesting stuff, I’ve just comments on a journal entry by Steve Sugden of Pressie4Princesses mentioning the small town where I grew up!
But what I really wanted to talk about was progress on new features, especially the new showroom administration stuff. Please bear in mind I’m still putting together all this stuff, so the final version may not look quite like these screenshots, but they at least give you a taster of where we’re going.
So, first of all you want to add a new product – or even more than one. Select a few images from your computer:
They then get uploaded:
And you can enter some more details:
…before the product goes live in your Showroom. Even when it is live you just need to visit the page for that product to add more images, change the prices, or update the description or title. We think you’ll agree it’s MUCH simpler than the old Control Panel way, and will hopefully make it much simpler to add products.
