As myJournal goes into the next phase of development we are now opening registration to the public. This blog will outline how it works.

Key Benefits of Membership to my Journal

Firstly myJournal is a free business-social network system for companies and individuals. Some of the key benefits of joining myJournal are that you get to use virtual showrooms to promote products and services online, media libraries that aid in promoting services and products via video, personal and company profiles that allow a company or organisation to add team members to the one company profile while preserving the personal profile of each individual member.  Company and personal blogs allow a profile to assign members to a blog/journal to allow multi-blogging about your organisations business.  Other benefits include the ability to have live personal blogs and the option to keep them private and allow them to be read by those you specify.

The virtual showrooms are a neat feature of myJournal and constantly we are adding new features to the showroom fucntionality. Here are a couple of example showrooms by myJournal members. The Rehoboth Beach Living Realtors showroom feature real estate for sale by clicking on a property it takes you to further information about the property for sale including more images and detail which then by clicking an image it expans for a better view.  Molins ITCM have been busy writing blogs about their custom machinery business and can be viewed at the Molins ITCM Engineering Your Thinking blog. Also from ITCM you can see how a multiple member company profile looks here ITCM profile. By clicking on an individual member it will take you to their profie as in Lyne Vanhaecke.

Membership

Membership to myJournal is by invitation only, meaning each member can invite as many people as they want and in turn those that are invited and who sign up can also invite others.  There is also a form to request membership; by filling in a few details we will send an invite out to you.  One of the reasons why we have decided to go the invite as it preserves the quality of our membership, it allows members to invite others they know or know off and this helps in creating a natural network. It also keeps figures good while we are still in the start-up phase.
