Reminder - Tax code and national minimum wage changes!
Tax code changes announced earlier this year will take effect on the 7th September 08.
National Minimum Wage increase from £5.52 to £5.73 per hour will be introduced from 1st October.
Basic personal allowances will increase by £600 from current £5435 to £6035. At the same time the 20% basic rate tax band (annual amount of taxable income before you pay higher tax rate) will reduce from £36,000 to £34,800.
