The trip was made in a Soyuz capsule with two Russian cosmonauts. "Mr Garriott paid $35 million (£20m) for the 12-day adventure, which saw him follow in the footsteps of his father, Nasa astronaut Owen Garriott." The crew touched down safely in Kazakhstan with a flawless landing.
