Laser Treatment For Hair Removal

Friday, August 20th, 2010 - 12:08 pm

With regard to laser hair removal one must remember the ‘no pain, no gain’ motto since there is the level of discomfort one will endure during the procedure, though here at the Wentworth Clinic we utilize the Fotona laser system for laser hair removal in the UK as it is noted as one of the least painful laser systems currently on the market.  The procedure is faster than that of electrolysis since during that process each hair follicle receives an individual electrical charge to it, a painstaking and time consuming procedure.   Laser hair removal treatments generally take between 5-7 sessions to notice considerable hair growth reduction and should be scheduled approximately 5 – 6 weeks apart.  Hair will generally begin to fall out 10-14 days following each treatment.

Sixty percent of patients who look for facial rejuvenation are concerned about facial lines. Where are these facial lines? They are in the forehead, which could be frown lines, horizontal forehead lines or crow’s feet lines. They are also noticeable along the nasolabial furrows. Lines which are markedly noticeable along the mouth, called peri oral lines, are very common among smokers and those who have had a considerable amount of sun damage over the years.

How do I do upper face rejuvenation?

Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 - 8:51 am no comments

The concept of upper facial rejuvenation should be akin to a gourmet dish. One should not be able to detect what went into the dish to produce such a delicious taste. This applies entirely to aesthetic correction where multiple procedures should be carried out so that the outcome should be pleasant, as if the patient had had a good holiday rather than that the patient had had some surgery.
